original softwood shaft with rosewood head and satinwood sightline, (146.5 cm
long) Thurston himself was a cabinet maker with Gillow until setting up his own
company in 1799.
A handsome solid ebony transitional mace/cue, c. 1820,
with satinwood sightline (144 cm long) Almost certainly made by Thurston.

cm long) This cue was made by J.P. Mannock prior to him selling the patent to
Burroughs & Watts in 1903.
